There is a beautiful subtlety to the music of Nottingham-based duo Shelter Point. The production on both of these tracks does a terrific job of just about adding enough colour and detail to Liam Arnold's vocals. Cut Me Loose is the newer of the two, a little more upbeat whilst still laced with melancholy, Serenity is more of a full-on modern ballad. Check them both out below where you can stream or download from Soundcloud.

Stream: Low - Youth
Loving both the original and Fever Trails remix of this new track from Youth. The original is sun-drenched, thick and honey-like - full of big pads and scattering drum patterns. Listen to it and download it via Soundcloud above.
The Fever Trails mix is a little more frenetic, rolling in pitched vocal treatments and some filtered bass. Fever Trails is South African electronic producer Nicolaas Van Reenan - you can check out his own (slightly bonkers) work on his Soundcloud.
Stream / Download: Brain (Ta-Ku Remix) - Banks
Another week, another Banks jam to swoon over. This remix of recent single Brain by Ta-Ku is to die for... Jump on that drop at 2:52...
Stream / Download: Love Like You Do - My Dance Radio
I first covered My Dance Radio back when they released their first single "Art Of Rejection" in June... They are now on to single number three, "Love Like You Do", and I think it's their best yet.
This one is a bit less new romantic and 80s influenced but is still similarly melancholic and electronic... The Soundcloud page references Hot Chip and there is certainly an element of their sound on display here in this track. "Love Like You Do" has a soft melodic groove and syrupy love sick sound - it's so sweet it's almost too much, but I'm currently all over it.
Check it out and download it via Soundcloud below, or pay what you want for it on Bandcamp.
Download: Falling For You - L'Étranger
A glorious bit of French touch courtesy of the (Yorkshire based!) L'Étranger here in the form of their gorgeous track "Falling For You". The track is available as a free download temporarily to celebrate a recent airing within Lazerdisk's recent guest mix for Diplo & Friends on Radio 1.
There's apparently a new EP in the works and we can expect a special guest, but in the meantime I'll be jacking this up on my headphones!
